Android

Android is an operating system for mobile phones and tablets, in much the same way that PCs run Microsoft Windows as their operating system It is developed by Google.
Android phones comes typically with several built in application and also support third party programs. Develop can create programs for android using free android SDK (software Developer kit). Android programs are written in java and run through google 's. "Davlik"  virtual machine which is optimized for mobile devices. User can download "apps" from the online market.
